Flávio Augusto da Silva, a Brazilian born in 1972 in the city of Rio de Janeiro, is an entrepreneur and writer, founder of Wise Up, owner of Orlando City Soccer Club and president of T-BDH Capital.

Flávio spent most of his childhood and adolescence studying at a public school in his neighborhood. When he turned 19, he started working in the commercial department of an English school. Four years later, Flávio founded Wise Up.

Always try to be the best and not the average. Although the methods of evaluation of our education system don't represent your knowledge as a whole, always try to do your best. In the outside world, only the best will survive;

Flávio says in "Geração de Valor 2" that your value will not be recognized by the amount of knowledge you have, but by what you can accomplish with it. Diplomas on the wall mean nothing.

The author Flávio Augusto also says that we should know our moment. Are you in a difficult time? Hold tight. Are you in a moment of doubt? Worse than standing still is going in the wrong direction. Before making decisions, know the right direction.

Do not emphasize what the person says he is capable of doing. Highlight what he has achieved;

Do not cling to titles. Values are more important;

Ask yourself the reason why that person approached you;

Analyze whether the person behaves the same way regardless of whether other people are close or not;

Know the difference between one who praises and one who flatters;

Notice how she reacts when you tell her no;

Do not approach those who do not accept their defects;

Dedication, effort, and intelligence are equally important.

Approach those who have similar values to yours;

Prefer people who are humble and not those who are arrogant.

As explained in the book "Geração de Valor 2", even following this advice, there is no guarantee that you will make the right choices, as human beings are very complex, but these tips will help you.

How many "no's" can you endure until you reach your goal? According to the author Flávio Augusto, your desire get past them must be greater than the amount of "no" you receive.

The best fighter is the one who gets the most blows and stands, not necessarily the one who gives the most blows.

Do not think that difficulties are unique aspects of your life, they are present in the life of anyone who wants to achieve success. To overcome them, simply do not afford to give up.
